Merry Monday: Christmas with Twine

Let me guess...many of you saw "Christmas" in the title and ran the other way.  Christmas??!! Didn't we just survive Christmas and can't we move on now??

But I have to tell you that this was the first Christmas ever for which I was ready...at least when it comes to my cards.  And it was FANTASTIC!!  I happily sat with one morning, a good cup of coffee, fireplace going, and figured out which card out of my large box of completed cards would go to each of my friends and my family.  I want to have that pleasant and relaxed experience again this year.

Plus...if the good people at the various Christmas challenges, in this case Merry Monday, take the time to put up challenges...I'm there!

PLUS...I really want to get some of the Christmas supplies out of my NBUS box (never-before-used-schtuff)!  Yes, I overspent this year!  I always manage to justify it in that I don't buy a lot of Valentines or spring or summer stamps, so I can get carried away in the fall and for Christmas.

The first thing to get out of my NBUS box was an over-sized and very heavy EK Success punch with three ornaments (I only used two).  I also had not used this Christmas Words die from Paper Smooches.  The Merry Monday challenge to use twine or ribbon worked perfectly with the ornaments.

Now I need to finish up a few duties and tasks - a little laundry, a little homework.  Then I will be making some Mexican cheese dip - using Velveeta!!!  (Does anybody really believe that the Velveeta shortage is real or is it just a way to get us all to eat processed cheese product?) Then...it's time to cheer on the Denver Broncos!!!

Go Broncos!  (Please don't break our hearts.)

Go Broncos, especially next week against New England! Now that the Giants are out of the running, we're rooting for Denver and the other Manning ;)

Love the card! Isn't it great not to have to fret over Christmas cards. So as each week passes make one, it will keep Christmas in my heart all year long. And allow me an easy choice too. Thanks

This was your day, Kim. Your lovely card won an HM at Merry Monday and the Broncos won their game. I'm a Bronco fan even if I do live in Michigan.
